Alexander Technology Group is partnering with an Aerospace & Defense contractor looking to hire a Business Intelligence Engineer.
This position will require being on-site in Portsmouth NH daily.
The MS Business Intelligence Developer partners with stakeholders, analysts, and end users to transform business data into dashboards, reports, and data-driven applications across multiple business units, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and deliver reporting solutions, including dashboards, scorecards, and data discovery tools
- Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Provide troubleshooting, technical guidance, and consultative support to clients
- Maintain documentation, test plans, and code repositories
- Ensure compliance with established standards and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in MS BI development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Excel, SQL Server, SSAS, and SSRS; ability to write optimized SQL queries
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including DAX and data modeling
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience with Tableau or Qlik is a plus
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Git and Visual Studio preferred
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in team environments
