CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking CNC Machinist Level II candidates in the Conway, NH area. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines and lathes in a production environment. This role supports Tee Enterprises’ production goals by ensuring high-quality, efficient machining while adhering to all safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm all safety devices are in place and operational
- Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations
- Select, position, align, sharpen, and maintain tooling; report worn or broken tools
- Set tool pressure and clearance to specification
- Program cut dimensions using computer controls from print details
- Securely position workpieces and verify proper alignment
- Measure workpieces throughout operations to ensure quality and repeatability
- Design or recommend tooling improvements for increased efficiency
- Start up, operate, and shut down CNC milling machines and lathes per procedures
- Monitor machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions
- Notify supervisors of issues and suggest process improvements
- Maintain tooling inventory and consumables
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of metal chips
- Maintain material storage and coolant as required
- Perform miscellaneous duties to support overall production goals
Desired Background/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certificate or associate degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a precision machine shop
- Proficiency in G-Code or Hurco programming
- Strong knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and CNC operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and job specifications
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to assist in training new hires
- Forklift operation experience or ability to train and become certified

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27.00 – $32.00/hour
