CNC Machinist Setup/Operator Job Description

CNC Machinist Setup / Operator Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up CNC Milling Machines (3 and 5 axis) or
- Set up CNC Turning Centers (lathes)
- Make proper offsets and adjustments to ensure parts are acceptable
- Operate job until an operator can be shown the job
- Keep a tidy and organized work area
- Accurately create and fill in data for the QA Sheet and verify completeness based on part print
CNC Machinist / Operator Qualifications and Skills
- Strong shop math background
- 5+ Years experience as a CNC Machinist setting up Milling machines or lathes
- Blue print reading skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
