Front of House Restaurant Manager
The Knotty Pine Grill and Tavern is looking for a service-oriented Restaurant Manager to manage our Wakefield, NH location. This is an exciting opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for our customers, continually improve our quality of service, and help our team reach their full potential.
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily front of the house operations at the restaurant Wednesday-Sunday.
Duties include hiring and training restaurant servers, takeout and hosting staff ensuring they are following company policies, speaking with diners to address concerns or solve problems, and creating work schedules for restaurant staff. Additionally, they will be troubleshooting issues that may arise at the location, engaging the appropriate service to address those issues.
They need to be proficient in the POS system; Toast experience would be a plus.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least a high school diploma
- Previous restaurant experience
- Prior work as a manager or supervisor
- Success with customer service
- Training in food safety
- Experience with long shifts, including weekends
