We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within an established, community-based practice alongside experienced and collegial providers.
Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and health promotion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical acumen, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric populations
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Promote preventive care and patient education initiatives
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and organizational policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of NP/ clinical experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; MSN preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- For Physician Assistant candidates: Graduation from an accredited program and current certification required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth) and related healthcare technologies
- Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality care and professional development

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
