Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in family law, but such is not a requirement. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while providing comprehensive support to attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
- Manage case files through document management systems, ensuring all information is organized and accessible.
- Perform document review and proofreading to ensure clarity and correctness before submission.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating schedules.
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience in family law or related fields is beneficial.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; excellent proofreading abilities are necessary.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
