Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Technician to support daily operations in our analytical laboratory. The ideal candidate will assist with sample preparation, analytical testing, data recording, and routine lab maintenance while adhering to strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and enjoys hands-on laboratory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, label, and track samples according to established protocols
- Perform routine analytical tests using laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, LCMS, GCMS) *training provided
- Accurately document test results, observations, and deviations in laboratory notebooks and/or LIMS
- Follow SOPs, QA/QC procedures, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GLP, GMP, ISO)
- Assist with reagent preparation and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Collaborate with scientists, technicians, and quality teams to meet turnaround times
- Communicate professionally with clientele via email
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of laboratory etiquette
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an analytical, environmental, pharmaceutical, or industrial laboratory
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP or ISO-regulated environments
- Experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GCMS
- WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A PLUS
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE and work with chemicals
