Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician. This position requires, under limited supervision, and to the extent permitted by licensing status, performance of highly skilled work related to corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs and restorations of heating, ventilating, central air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical and related utility systems in Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority buildings and facilities.
Our ideal employee will be able to work independently and with a team while maintaining public housing units, buildings, grounds and offices to safe, decent and sanitary conditions and in accordance with state and federal laws. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, or technical school or apprenticeship supplemented by four years of experience in mechanical, building or plumbing trades as related to plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning fields, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
This is a full-time, 40-hour position. A valid driver's license is required.
