Nobis is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking Director of Human Resources to join our leadership team and shape the people strategy that drives our organization's success. This role blends high-level strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution and is idea for a collaborative, influential HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
As a key partner to the Executive Team, you will play a central role in building an engaged, high-performing workforce; strengthening leadership capabilities; and ensuring our culture reflects our values and commitment to excellence.
Some Of What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning HR initiatives within business goals.
- Lead organizational change efforts that support growth, agility, and performance.
- Partner across departments to shape workforce strategies and drive operational excellence.
People Leadership & Talen Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee development, and succession planning.
- Implement programs that strengthen leadership, retention, and employee growth.
HR Operations & Employee Experience
- Oversee daily HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Enhance HR processes, systems, and services to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Drive initiatives that improve engagement, culture, and the overall employee consistency.
Compliance & HR Infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Oversee benefits administration, workers' compensation, and health and safety programs.
What You’ll Need To Bring With You
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10 year minimum in a leadership position in Human Resources with experience inclusive of progressive supervisory roles in core HR disciplines such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations, workers compensation, etc.
- Demonstrated success in leading talent development initiatives, including succession planning, leadership coaching, and employee engagement strategies.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level as well as diving into day-to-day HR operations.
- Experience in employment law and other government compliance regulations and ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex difficult, and emotional issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to build trust and credibility quickly.
- Skilled in driving continuous improvement and change management initiative across HR and other departments.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, have own transportation, and proof of auto insurance and be able to travel between office locations and attend meetings and events as needed.
- Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR) required.
- Senior professional certification in Human Resources (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is highly preferred.
