Job Overview
As a skilled Carpenter specializing in exterior projects, you will perform high-quality installations and repairs of:
- Decks, porches, and exterior wood structures
- Siding, trim, exterior doors, and window frames
- Roof components and associated exterior fixtures
You’ll work directly with homeowners and our expert team to ensure each project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and material lists
- Construct and install framing, decks, porches, siding, and decorative woodwork
- Install windows and doors, ensuring proper sealing and alignment
- Perform precise trim installation and exterior finishing
- Repair and replace structural components while maintaining integrity
- Collaborate with crew members to complete exterior remodeling tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized worksite
- Communicate with clients and project leads on timelines, materials, and any issues
- Ensure workmanship aligns with company quality standards and warranty requirements
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, particularly exterior work (decks, siding, trim, roofing, window & door installation)
- Ability to read blueprints and layout work accurately
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, fastening, and installing a variety of materials
- Familiarity with residential construction codes and safety standards
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Capable of lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varied conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel across NH
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in remodeling or renovation projects.
