Company Description
At Custom Electric, we don’t just turn wrenches, and we certainly don’t exist to finance the mismanagement of "check-the-box" general contractors. We are a premier commercial and industrial electrical contractor focused on delivering real business outcomes, protecting budgets, and building high-ROI relationships with property owners, facility managers, and operators.
Our team understands that electrical infrastructure is the lifeblood of any commercial operation. We prioritize value-driven clients who want to improve their operations through proactive, expertly executed electrical solutions rather than reactive break/fix chaos.
A core pillar of our growth is our turnkey Electrical Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program. We don't just fix problems; we engineer risk out of our clients' buildings.
What We Deliver for Our Clients:
We provide formal, documented maintenance programs that align directly with the NFPA 70B (2023 Update) standard, which recently transitioned from a recommended practice to a standard for many facilities.
Our PM programs include advanced diagnostics such as thermographic (infrared) scans, breaker trip testing, torqueing of connections, and insulation resistance testing.
We help our clients significantly reduce risk, allowing them to qualify for 5% to 15% property insurance premium credits from major carriers.
We protect our clients' bottom lines by preventing unplanned electrical outages, which can cost commercial facilities $50,000 to $100,000 or more per hour.
We deliver verifiable value, leveraging industry data that shows a 4x to 10x return on investment for every dollar spent on preventative maintenance.
We save our clients money over the long term, as reactive break/fix maintenance typically costs 2 to 5 times more per incident than planned maintenance.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for intellectually curious electricians, project managers, and sales professionals who understand that our job is to solve business problems. If you know how to talk about budget, if you value long-term client relationships over one-off transactional bids, and if you want to work for a company that respects its own value in the marketplace, you belong at Custom Electric.
