The Operations Director is a key member of the executive team with full responsibility for operational performance across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a true leadership role with accountability for P&L, operational strategy and execution across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
You will lead through senior operational leaders, driving consistency, discipline and accountability across all locations while ensuring performance aligns with commercial objectives and long term growth.
As the Operations Director your responsibilities will include
- Leading multisite manufacturing operations across CNC and precision engineering environments
- Owning full P&L performance including cost control, margin improvement and operational efficiency
- Driving safety, quality, delivery and cost performance across all locations
- Standardising processes, systems and operating rhythms to ensure consistency and scalability
- Developing and coaching site leaders to build capability, succession and high performing teams
As the Operations Director you will bring
- Significant leadership experience within mechanical engineering, CNC or precision manufacturing
- Proven success leading multisite or geographically dispersed manufacturing operations
- Strong commercial acumen with ownership of P&L performance and operational metrics
- Experience operating within regulated or quality critical manufacturing environments
- Ability to lead change, align leadership teams and drive execution through others
