We are seeking a high-impact Director of Nursing to oversee all nursing services within our residential treatment program in New Hampshire. This leader will drive clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance , and support the delivery of safe, high-quality care for adolescents/young adults throughout their treatment journey.
You’ll be a strategic partner to our Executive Director, Clinical Director, medical providers, and our leadership team — while directly developing, supporting, and empowering nursing staff on-site.
What You’ll Lead
- Oversee daily nursing operations and medication administration processes within our residential care environment
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc)
- Partner with therapists, medical providers, program staff to support individualized treatment plans + whole-person care
- Implement and maintain nursing policies, workflows, and documentation practices aligned with regulations
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, DHHS / Bureau of Licensing & Certification, and all state regulatory requirements
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, and clinical excellence
- Drive quality improvement, audit readiness, and clinical performance initiatives
- Lead staffing strategy, hiring, training, and nurse leader development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire
- Minimum 4–5+ years of progressive nursing experience with at least 2–3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox/stabilization, or similar milieu strongly preferred
Preferred:
- Nursing leadership/administration certification (NE-BC, NEA-BC)
