Description
This is a part time position, up to 24 hours per week working up to 5 days per week. Ideal shift is 4.5 hours and starting as early as 7a or as late as 9a.
The coordinator is responsible for cleaning the credit union facilities to ensure a professional appearance in good working order. The position will be responsible for upkeep, supplies, stocking, and reporting maintenance items. An outside cleaning company will be responsible for deep cleaning. Seasonal duties include shoveling and salting sidewalks, sweeping parking lot, and washing windows, siding, and sidewalks.
A background check including references, prior employment, social security trace, driving, credit report, and national/county/local criminal records is required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to be maintained at all times. No lapse in the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to be bonded with an extensive background check**.
- Technology skills required: Experience using and communicating electronically via email and instant messenger.
- Education: high school education or GED.
- Experience: Prior custodian skills required.
- Physical requirements: Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as job may require. Lifting to 75 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Skills: Ability to work under minimal supervision. Ability to use common tools, cleaning equipment, and products. Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required.
